Supply Trading & Chartering Manager

Responsibilities:

• Handles crude import, product import/export and local oil company sales/purchases of the Company. 
• Provides management with relevant and timely market information on current and future international oil price trends, international and regional supply-demand situations.
• Secure supply of crude and import/export of petroleum products
• Handle local oil company purchases and sales
• Monitor term import and export contracts and provide assessment of the performance of counterparties.
• Establish and maintain relationship with international traders, ASEAN national oil companies, and other market players including local industry players:
• Prepare and analyze data needed by other departments for price-related matters
• Provide data and analysis for corporate short term and long term planning activities
• Performs special studies as required by management from time to time in pursuit of the Company’s objectives.
• Handle processing of accreditation of new trader applicants and monitors the performance of accredited oil companies and traders who transact business with Company.
• Coordinate the logistical requirement of foreign guests of Company as needed.
• Manage Crude & Product Physical Trading and Chartering of Crude & Product vessels.
• Acquistion required crude & product to meet refinery operations & product sales and export of surplus product.
• Ensure suitable marine charterer arrangement to meet required loading & delivery timing.
• Able to analyze and interpret commodity and freight markets to devise strategies.
• Manage market volatility and operational issue to minimize impact to company.
• Develop personnel in terms of knowledge and expertise on market trading and chartering.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Engineering / Science/ Mathematics. Refining and Supply experiences are essential. 
• Min 3-5 years of experience in Trading Manager role.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, coordination and administrative skills.
• Team player willing to be involved and proactively act on issue for resolution.
• Experience in Distribution, Fuel Marketing and Planning will be an added advantage.
